Presentation design that holds a room

Board decks, sales presentations and AGM slides that people can actually read from the back row.

Most business presentations fail in the same two ways: too much on the slide, and nothing guiding the eye to the part that matters. The result is a room of people reading ahead instead of listening to you. Good slide design fixes that by deciding, on every slide, what one thing the audience should take away.

I design decks for the presentations that carry weight — board and AGM presentations, sales and pitch decks, funding requests, conference talks, training material and internal all-hands sessions. Work usually starts from whatever you already have: an outline, a rough deck, a document, sometimes just a conversation about what you need to convince people of.

The build covers slide layout and visual hierarchy, a consistent template you can keep using afterwards, charts and diagrams that make the number legible instead of decorative, typography sized to be read from the back of a room, and image treatment that looks deliberate rather than dropped in. If you have brand colours and fonts, the deck uses them. If you do not, we settle on something clean that will not fight your material.

Files are delivered in PowerPoint so you can present and edit them yourself, with a PDF version for handout or distribution. Speaker notes and a printable one-page leave-behind can be included if the situation calls for it. Rate is $85 per hour, and I will give you an estimate based on slide count and how ready the content is before starting.

How it works

STEP 1

Send what you have

An outline, an old deck, or a document. We talk through the audience and the goal.

STEP 2

Design and structure

Slides get built and ordered so each one carries a single clear point.

STEP 3

Yours to present

Editable PowerPoint files delivered, with two rounds of revisions included.

Common questions

Do I get editable PowerPoint files?

Yes. Everything is delivered as an editable PowerPoint file plus a PDF, and the template is yours to reuse for future decks.

Can you work from my existing slides?

That is the most common starting point. Rebuilding an existing deck is usually faster and cheaper than starting from a blank page.

How is a presentation quoted?

At $85 per hour, estimated up front from the slide count and how finished your content is. Rough notes take longer than a written outline.
