Practical AI support and guidance

AI can genuinely save small businesses time, if you know where to start. Here is the practical side of it.

There is an enormous amount of noise around AI right now, and very little of it is aimed at a business with four employees and a quoting process that runs on a spreadsheet. The useful question is not which model is best, it is which twenty minutes of your week could stop being spent on retyping the same email.

I sit down with you, look at how the work actually moves through your business, and pick one or two places where an AI tool earns its keep. In practice that is usually drafting and replying to routine email, turning rough notes into a quote or a proposal, writing product and service descriptions, summarising long documents, or generating the social posts nobody has time to write.

The training is hands-on and uses the tools you are most likely to already have access to — ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, which comes bundled with many Microsoft 365 plans. We work in your own files and your own examples rather than generic demonstrations, so what you learn transfers directly to Monday morning.

Safety gets equal time. That means being clear about what should never be pasted into a chat window, how client and employee information has to be handled, where these tools are confidently wrong, and why anything customer-facing still needs a human reading it before it goes out. The goal is a couple of habits that stick and keep saving time long after the session ends, with ongoing support as the tools keep changing.

How it works

STEP 1

Where the time goes

We look at the repetitive work in your week and find the tasks worth handing off.

STEP 2

Hands-on session

Working in your own files, you learn the tools by doing the actual job with them.

STEP 3

Habits that stick

You leave with a short list of prompts and routines that work, and I stay available as things change.

Common questions

Do I need to be technical to use AI tools?

No. If you can write an email, you can use these tools. The training is built around plain language and your own day-to-day work.

Is it safe to use AI with business information?

It can be, with rules. Part of every session covers what should never be entered into these tools and how to keep client and employee information protected.

Which AI tools do you recommend?

Usually ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, since Copilot is already included in many Microsoft 365 plans. The right choice depends on what you already pay for and what you need it to do.
